Virtual Sky

Optimised for Google Cardboard, Virtual Sky places you in space with the stars of the night sky floating around you. Bright lines mark out the constellations, and a tap of a button will send you flying in the direction you are looking. As you fly between stars you will get a sense of the real 3D structure of the constellations. You'll soon discover that Orion is only a hunter from our perspective! You will begin near a hugely enlarged Sun which will give you a point of reference to keep track of your journey through the solar neighbourhood.Instructions: To fly around look directly at a star until you see an arrow pointing toward it and then tap the screen (or press the capacitative touch button on your Google Cardboard headset). To reset to the original position next to the Sun, look at any star and double-tap.
